ST JOHNS WOOD CONTEMPORARY HOME nw8
In a part of London defined by classical architecture and understated elegance, this gated development offers something altogether more contemporary. Behind secure gates in St John’s Wood, Antarris was commissioned to oversee the complete transformation of a modern residence — acting as architect, structural engineer, interior designer, and contractor.
This was a full turnkey commission executed with clarity and control. The property was reworked entirely: volumes opened, finishes stripped back, and every surface reconsidered. The open-plan kitchen, designed as a sculptural centrepiece, anchors the main living space — flanked by bespoke joinery, layered materials, and glass that invites light into every corner. Bathrooms are deliberately restrained, resolved in tone and proportion. The brief was met not through excess, but through precision.
This is not a house that gestures. It holds its own. The design is confident, unambiguous, and executed without compromise.
Located in one of London’s most desirable postcodes — moments from Regent’s Park, the high street, and several cultural institutions — the development offers both security and seclusion. A modern residence, delivered with conviction.
